Is it safe to install from outside the Play Store?
Yes. Installing an app file directly ("sideloading") is a normal, supported part of Android. FindMyPhoneSMS is digitally signed by Monaï Telecom, encrypted on your device, and collects nothing - see the full install & safety guide.
Will Google Play Protect warn me?
It may show "App not commonly downloaded" - that just means the app is new and not on the Play Store, not that it is harmful. Tap "More details" → "Install anyway". Our setup guide walks through every screen.
Why does it need permission to read SMS?
That is how it works - it watches incoming texts for your trigger word so it knows when to ring. It only ever checks for that one word; it never reads or uploads your messages.
Why isn't it on the Google Play Store?
Google restricts apps that use the SMS permission to a small set of app types. A phone-finder doesn't qualify, so - like many legitimate SMS tools - we distribute it directly and safely from this site.
